Early Childhood Teacher

The Management Committee of Amy Hurd Early Learning Centre Inc is seeking the following employee to deliver high quality education and care for children attending our community based Early Education and Care Centre.  

 

Early Childhood Teacher (Bachelor of Education) - Full time.

At Amy Hurd Early Learning Centre we believe that all children should have the very best start in life and strive to deliver the highest quality programs that are tailored to suit the individual needs of each child in our care. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in our 3-5 year old preschool room.

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification.

  • Current and valid NSW working with children’s check

  • Current HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting.

  • CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk

  • NESA accredited Proficient Teacher or Provisional or Conditional accreditation.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working in the Early Education and Care Sector

  • Sound knowledge of the NQF, NQS, EYLF, A&R.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with children, families and other professionals to develop programs that reflect current interests, strengths and needs

  • Demonstrated evidence of quality documentation

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • As Educational Leader you will inspire and motivate, whilst affirming and also challenging or extending the practice and pedagogy of educators.
